Galveston's Hurricane Tour with Dr. "Hurricane Hal" Needham visits a wide range of sites with historical and scientific interest. See before-and-after scenes from the 1900 Storm, Seawall and Grade Raising, visit the site of Galveston's forgotten Grade Raising Canal, learn about hurricane impacts on immigrants, and see the importance of elevating historic homes! We will also see high water marks from historic hurricanes, visit the site of the world's first live radar broadcast of a hurricane eye, and see hurricane tree sculptures. The tour also addresses current high-profile topics, like climate change and sea level rise.

This 90-min tour is a unique, educational experience!
