Island Pride: Galveston’s LGBTQ+ History Tour is an atmospheric golf cart tour led by storyteller Spooky Gin that uncovers the island’s hidden past. Hidden Pride is a powerful and immersive golf cart tour exploring the hidden history of Galveston’s LGBTQ+ community. Long before Pride was celebrated openly, lives were lived in secrecy through coded language, hidden relationships, and carefully guarded spaces. This tour blends documented history with evocative storytelling to reveal sites where love was forbidden; identities were hidden, and a resilient community quietly endured. Designed for LGBTQ+ travelers, allies, and history enthusiasts, the tour creates a reflective, meaningful atmosphere that highlights voices and stories often left out of mainstream narratives.

We will stop by two of the Island's iconic bars, including Robert's Lafitte, the oldest Gay Bar in the state of Texas!
